Cher Lloyd fragrance

If anyone who knows me in real life is reading this blog, they'll be wondering why on earth I'm talking about Cher Lloyd. To say she is not my type of popstar and her songs aren't my type of music is an understatement.

However, I was recently sent her new fragrance through the post, due to not being able to attend the launch, and as I was kindly sent it, I thought I would write an honest review in return.

The packaging and bottle are very girly. Not something I would quite expect from Cher Lloyd, who likes to think she has a certain 'edge' about her.

I do think the diamond shape of the bottle is pretty cool, while still being a tad plasticy and tacky, and I love that the lid is a magnet.

Being diamond shaped means the bottle is pretty chunky and heavy, so it wouldn't be something I'd carry around with me. It's pretty difficult to hold while using as well. The pump is positioned in the middle of the diamond, which makes it tricky to press and a lot of the perfume ends up on the base.

Luckily, the scent is rather nice in my opinion. I like sweet/fruity/floral scents and this combines all sorts of notes, including kiwi, white chocolate, orchid and vanilla. It's pretty sickly sweet, but I think it's one of those fragrances that will linger in my collection for a while.

It's not something I'd wear every day and it's not something I would willingly buy, but it's cute and sweet and it's something I'll pick up and use every now and again.

  2. I'm glad that it was nice in the end :) I feel sorry for her, at V she had pee thrown at her! So it would be a very unfortunate if her perfume smelt horrid too :) x

  5. Ahh, I can't stand Cher Lloyd, so I had a bit of a shock when I heard she was releasing a perfume, and the packaging does look quite tacky, but I'll definitely have to get a whiff of it next time I'm in a fragrance department, just out of curiousity ha xx

  9. This aromatic aquatic fragrance gives men energy and refreshment with its marine notes. Aqva Pour Homme starts with fresh aromas of petit grain and citruses.
