I can't believe I've reached number 100 in my Wednesday Wishlist series, mainly because I can't believe I've been able to keep it up for so long. Granted there's been the odd week I've forgotten but at least it's not a series that has started and completely stopped right in the middle.

This week I'm featuring the very popular tartan trend. I may have featured a couple of tartan items in the past but I don't even care because I love it so much. I actually have the above sheer tartan top, which I'm hoping to feature in a future outfit post if I can ever master the art of outfit photographing, and I actually purchased a new dark green tartan skirt yesterday too.

To celebrate reaching my 100th Wednesday Wishlist I thought I'd hold a little giveaway! As I've featured all items from New Look in this week's wishlist I thought I would give one of my readers the chance to buy some tartan for themselves (or anything else they want!) and I'm giving away a £20 New Look gift voucher.

Unfortunately I don't really celebrate Halloween anymore. I see it as more of a kids celebration or something you celebrate by dressing up and going to a club when you're at Uni.

I remember the first time I went Tric or Treating, I was dressed up as a witch and had a pointy hat and used a black bin bag as my cape. That's about as imaginative as my costumes got. After that I always went as a devil or cat, even at Uni! I remember coming home and having LOADS of sweets to get through but now I'm one of those people that doesn't even open the door to people. What a grump!

I was originally planning to celebrate Halloween on my blog with some halloween inspired nails but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to take any decent photographs now that the clocks have gone back. By the time I get home from work it's dark and I don't have any professional lighting etc so a wishlist will have to do!

Highstreet stores really go all out for Halloween. There's some really great bits and pieces to choose from but sometimes they're a bit pricey to wear for just one night. I think if you're going to a proper party you'd want to really make an effort but if you're just off out drinking there's not much point and you can probably find some cheaper fancy dress in a supermarket.

I've gone all designer for this weeks Wednesday Wishlist. Can you believe I'm on number 98 already, I'll have to find something really special for number 100!

Have you ever worn a designer dress? Unfortunately I haven't but a girl can dream so this week I'm doing exactly that and featuring lots of lovely, lovely designer dresses. Gorgeous.

I'm not usually one for wearing dresses. I have a few, which I go to when it's unbelievably hot and I can't bear jeans any longer or I have some that I wear specifically in the autumn/winter with tights and boots.

After looking at what I've picked I've noticed a particularly plain theme. I'm gone very little black dress but I think sticking to something simple and elegant is probably the best way to go. My favourite has got to be the Alice and Olivia dress with studded shoulder detailing, absolutely gorgeous!

There's so many brands to choose from that I couldn't possibly fit them all into one wishlist. I was pleasantly surprised to come across dresses from McQueen dresses and I absolutely love all of the Stella McCartney dresses too.

With a simple pair of black heels any of these dresses would look fab. If only I had such an occasion to wear them to and the money to buy them with.

This wishlist is strictly Matalan inspired. I was recently having a browse on its website and was really impressed by its new arrivals. I've spied lots of lovely Christmas decorations on there that I'm planning to get as well as a few gift ideas such as the above baking sets. I would quite like to buy these and gift them to myself for being so awesome, thanks!

£10 for the set is absolutely brilliant I think and the sets are currently on a 3 for 2 offer so they're real bargains. I could buy one for myself and use the other two as gifts. I say could, but I will probably keep them for myself. Hopefully they'll feature in a future blog post!

I also spied some lovely winter bits I aiming to make mine. The boots in particular are not usually something I'd wear but I saw some similar ones on Pinterest and fell in love. I need to try these on and see what they look like on me. The heel isn't too bad of a size so I think I could cope with it. They're in keeping with the 'rocky/edgy' trend that's going on at the moment so they fit perfectly with the tartan pleather rucksack, which I'm currently drooling over. How pretty!

I'm pretty sure I've ranted about Topshop prices before and no matter how gorgeous these playsuits are I would not pay almost £50 for one. That is absolutely ludicrous! There used to be a time when I would and that time was before rent, bills and food shopping. £50 would get me a good few weeks worth of food!

They're so very pretty but they'll stay firmly on the wishlist forever I expect. New Look's prices are a little more reasonable and I love their 'new in' section as it's full of autumn-inspired gorgeousness. I'm loving the green/navy colours and dark florals and especially the check print too.

I feel as if I'm in definite need of a shopping trip. I'm getting stuck in a jeans and a top rut again and it's annoying. I need to start branching out a little bit and exploring different things! I love a good playsuit and in the autumn/winter they look great with a pair of black tights and ankle boots. I got myself some ankle boots recently and I just love them so I need to put together some outfit inspiration!

White Stuff - Candy Leather Contrast Strap Across Body Handbag - £32.50

When you think of autumn you think of autumnal colours such as yellows, mustards, browns and reds but I came across these bags from White Stuff and absolutely loved the alternative autumn colouring.

The hazelnut colouring of the first across the body bag is quite autumn-like but the other two are extremely bright and colourful and not necessarily something I'd usually go for, but they're just so pretty I had to include them. Across body bags are really practical as they leave your hands free for other stuff but they can make the shoulders ache a bit. These ones are a really nice size, perfect for a day trip or shopping trip. They would make a nice change from my big Zara shopper bag.

I particularly like the simplicity of the blue/brown bag and for £32.50 it's actually a lot more reasonable than I thought it was going to be. I usually find the product, fall in love and check the price afterwards.

White Stuff is not a brand I have brought from before but I'm pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer. The bags themselves are really great quality and look much more expensive than they really are. The brand has a very english countryside feel to it and it's definitely a name I will go back to and have a browse of in the future.

Wednesday Wishlist #94

This week's wishlist has turned into a bit of an expensive shoe-fest. I'm a huge lover of beautiful shoes but unfortunately I'm not really a wearer of them, which is a shame.

I adore pretty high heels and cute flats but you'll most likely catch me wearing tatty pumps from Primark than anything lady-like. I can't count the amount of times I've bought a pair of heels in the past and have never worn them. They always end up sat in the back of my wardrobe and then get reluctantly sold on eBay or simply chucked out!

Shoes are quite a good way to add a bit of interest or an edge to an outfit and it's also a great way to express yourself. I particularly like wearing bright, colourful shoes with an otherwise plain outfit. I have a pair of black flats with coral toes but they pinch so much I can barely walk in them. The coral flats above are ideal and I love the shiny material too, but beware scratches! Eek!

Close favourites of mine from the above are the cute and girly black heels with bow detailing. They just look so luxurious and lovely and I would expect them to be as well for that sort of price. I adore the scalloped edging on these and they'd just give such a feminine feel to an outfit, the heel size on them isn't too bad either!

I also really adore the square toe flats I've included in the list. These are pretty formal and 'meeting' like but I can't get over the square toe, I love it but it kind of reminds me of The Witches from the Roald Dahl book too. I included the nudey pumps because I just wish I could get away with wearing something like this. They're so pretty and clean but I know I would just get them scratched to pieces instantly.

I officially love autumn. Not only because of the coloured leaves and the autumn sunshine but because it brings fashion trends like the above.

I absolutely adore the dark shades of wine and berry and this year is no exception. I especially love the boucle patterns and leather-look trim that's made an appearance this year. Skater skirts are also huge at the moment and I personally love them. I need to get my hands on a denim look one like the above, I can just imagine it paired with some lovely warm tights and a jumper or tee. I definitely need an autumn wardrobe overhaul.

When I went shopping on Saturday I couldn't help but notice the influx of biker jackets on the rails. They were everywhere! So Autumn is officially here and it's time to start thinking about this year's Autumn/Winter coat. Don't ask me why British people always need a new coat each season, I think it stems from schooldays but I've suddenly started thinking about what I want this year.

I currently do have a fake leather jacket but it's got an annoying fluffy hood on it, which isn't very 'cool' so I've been looking at a few different options. I think the peplum biker jacket is a great idea as it gives a lovely feminine edge to the jacket. I also love the quilted look jacket too, it just makes it a little more interesting.

I understand Primark have some good jackets and coats in stock at the moment so I might just have to check these out too. What have you decided on for your Autumn/Winter coat?

I didn't mean to go down the monochrome route with this weeks wishlist, it just kind of happened. I'm loving New Look's new collection and I've already spied a couple of bits I want to pick up. New Look's prices vary quite a bit. I often find some of its items are a tad on the expensive side but then you have pieces like the above which are quite reasonably priced. I really like tops with leather accents, I think they're lovely and I'm in a bit of a skater dress whirl at the moment too. I'm starting to build up quite a collection.

After my disappointment with Zara's sale and missing out on a bag I wanted for absolutely ages I decided to have another look at its new collections. I spied these pretty ballerina flats and what a bargain at £19.99 too. I SO need these in my life. I'm hoping to go shopping in Bristol soon where there is a Zara store so I'm definitely going to pop in and see if I can find these.

I can't believe I'm on my 90th Wednesday Wishlist, it's absolutely crazy! This week has a bit of a grey theme, which really wasn't intentional, but I came across these three pieces while browsing the New Look website. I love the marl texture look of the tshirt and jacket, I can't get enough of it, so much so that I am quite close to purchasing these already.

Last weekend I came across this baseball style tshirt in about a million different colours. I did pick it up and put it back again as I'm not sure. It's very tomboy looking but it's also in keeping with the sports fashion trend and I do kind of like it. I think it'd look great with some skinny jeans so watch this space, it may be featuring in an outfit post sometime soon.

Is anyone else looking forward to Autumn? I've just been browsing New Look's Autumn offerings and have already chosen a few things I want. I love the colours of Autumn fashion, the lovely dark reds and oranges reminiscent of the leaves.

I love the florals that New Look are producing as well as the skater skirts and t-shirt dresses. All so pretty! I've added all of these to my bookmarks bar so fingers crossed they will be mine in the not so distant future.

I've decided it might be time for a new bag and purse. I currently have a Zara shopper and it's getting really annoying to lug it around all the time, especially as I keep filling it with rubbish. I had my eye on one of the roll top messenger bags in the sale and I was waiting very patiently until pay day. When I went to get it, it was out of stock in the black! Argh! I knew I should have got it when I saw it, it was only £9.99 too.

So now I'm looking for an alternative shoulder bag, that's smaller but will still fit quite a lot in it. I also fancy a new purse. The one I have at the moment is pretty chunky and I don't really need one that's so big. I only carry my cards in it so something smaller would be much better.

Another home/giftware themed Wednesday Wishlist. This week's features pieces from GiftsandPieces.co.uk. I absolutely love everything on it and I'm waiting patiently until I get paid so I can make a couple of purchases.

The prices are really reasonable and I think my first purchase will be the white owl vase along with the owl hanging heart and the ring holder...I really want to add some little bits and pieces around the house and some of these would work really well. When I finally get my own dressing table I will purchase a few bits from here for it too, it has some great little jars and holders.

Due to the hot weather I've really fallen for wearing shorts. I'm not usually one to show off my legs at all so I much prefer shorts over skirts. I'm not talking the hot pant type shorts which are seriously short, I'm talking about the sort of shorts that are loose fitting and a bit longer than normal.

They're so comfortable to wear and easy to team with a little tshirt and sandals in the summer. I currently have three pairs from Matalan which have lovely patterns on but it's definitely time for an extension of my short collection!

Putting together this Wednesday Wishlist has made me realise just how expensive cushions are! £16 for a cushion is a little crazy in my opinion but they're so pretty!

I kind of want a new sofa, one that I can fill with some lovely cushions like the above. Ones that don't get squashed and mishapen and give the sofa a little bit of interest.

I think the key here is to buy cushions in the sale periods as they're much more reasonable. Matalan are really great for homewares at the moment, I'm forever in there browsing for little bits and bobs to dot around the place. While vases, candles and photo frames have been my thing in the past I think it's now moved on to cushions so hopefully I can get my hands on some soon and add accessorise a little more!

Oh dear. I have a bit of a tshirt dress addiction. I recently picked one up in the sale in Internacionale and wore it to London. It was just SO easy to wear, I literally threw it on, added some shoes and off I went!

I think a statement necklace really works with tshirt dresses as well and there are so many different patterns and colours available too. I really like the plain ones as they're so simple. I am very keen to invest in some more!

I'm feeling in the mood to redecorate and accessorise the house. I get quite bored of furniture and ornaments/vases and like moving them around and changing them up. I've got that feeling again now and feel like I want to paint the walls and go completely mad, but I thought accessorising might be safer seeing as we're in a rented house and there's not much point painting.

The whole downstairs of our house is light and airy so I've chosen a few bits, which I think would go well. Next are really doing well in its homeware department at the moment so I'm desperately waiting to get paid so I can go on a bit of a spree.

I wish I was more confident when it came to chunky, statement necklaces! I see them on the stands and think they're all so pretty and perfect for dressing up otherwise quite plain outfits, but I tend to pick them up and put them straight back again. I usually can't think what to wear them with and think most people, who don't quite understand 'fashion trends' would think they're a bit silly!

I'm definitely going to try and be a bit more confident with accessories and who knows, you may even see an outfit photo featuring some statement necklaces in the near future!

As it was so hot last week I decided it was about time I introduced some summer clothing to my wardrobe. I'm not exaggerating when I say my wardrobe is full of jeans and tops and that's it. Last week was super hot and I was sat sweating away in my jeans cursing the fact I never wear skirts or dresses.

I don't feel confident in them AT ALL but sometimes if it's so hot you just have to chuck on a dress and cool down! I am trying to build my summer wardrobe bit by bit and I thought the above tops were perfect. Both sleeveless and lightweight, they're just what I've been looking for and everytime I go into a Matalan store these sandals call out my name...it won't be long until they are mine!
