When I saw the new Louise Gray for Topshop make-up collection I instantly wanted every single bit of it.

However, having taken a bit of a closer look at it both Online and in real life, I decided that a lot of the pieces weren't really me. The bright lips, ice cream eye colours and peachy blushes aren't colours I would ever wear, however the burnt orange nail polish certainly is something I would wear.

I picked up 'Nails in Dart' for £6.50 which is a teeny bit steep for a polish, no matter who designed it. However, I do love the burnt orange shade and the glitter flecks.

It's quite fast drying which is impressive and one coat is more than enough coverage. In fact, it's so fast drying that I painted my nails and they survived a quick dash to the loo (why does that always happen when your nails are wet?) and the answering of the door to a postman and a lovely Matalan delivery. Not even a tiny bit of polish was smudged!

I went for the all over orange look instead of putting it on top of another colour. It's nice and easy to apply but it's a tiny bit gloopy, which is a tad annoying.

All in all it's a lovely polish, perfect for autumn! It's a pretty glamorous nail polish and gives you a nice little pick-me-up.

  8. I agree, I do adore the collection, but realistically I wouldn't wear many of the colours.
However, I am in looooove with this colour :P

  9. I have to admit, I suffered a bit of the same kind of effect when I checked out the collection in-store as opposed to online - a lot of the pieces I'd had my heart set on just weren't very 'me' at all!
This colour is absolutely gorgeous, though - even for the price (!), and it's such a bonus that it dries so quickly! xx
