Cherry Pie : Dirty Works Bye Bye! Dark Circles

Dirty Works Bye Bye! Dark Circles

I have eye creams, I have concealer but not a concealer product specifically targetted to the eyes, which is why I picked this little baby up in Sainsburys for just £3.32! What a bargain!

I know I'm probably very behind with this brand but oh well. I have seen it on the shelves for a while but now is the first time I've actually needed something from it. The current range on the shelves in my nearest Sainsburys are face washes, masks, foot cream and face wipes, which I'm quite well stocked up on at the moment, but there are a few more products available or so I'm told.

As you can see from the packaging, these products are complete rip-offs of the Soap & Glory collection which I absolutely adore! The entire range is packaged in brightly coloured bottles with 1950's pin-up images and quirky quotes. Sound familiar? However, these are a little bit cheaper which means in these hard jobless times, they are the way to go.

I have found most 'dark circles' eye creams/gels such a waste of time. I never see a difference! With the Dirty Works dark circles concealer, I have seen a little difference when I've used it with a foundation or tinted moisturiser.

The little box is extremely cute and is great for popping in your handbag, and personally the two shades are perfect for me. I believe these are the only shades available which is a bit worrying, but the product is lovely, smooth and creamy and blends really well. It is a really lightweight product and includes aloe and Vitamin E which is always good, however, the first ingredient listed is...parrafin...and surely that isn't good?

I think I'll definitely be trying out some of the brand's other products such as the body scrubs and butters as you can never go wrong with these, but I'm a bit wary of the face washes and masks with my skin being so sensitive.

Has anyone else ever tried this range? What did you think?

  8. I definitely need something for under my eyes with children waking me up so early in the morning. I used to use Touche Eclat but with the recession have had to stick to a budget with makeup. I always do my food shops online so never see stuff like this in the supermarket, thanks for sharing
