Dove Purely Pampering Nourish Body Oil

Dove Purely Pampering Nourish Body Oil
Dove Purely Pampering Pistachio and Magnolia Body Oil - £5.99

This is the second time in as many weeks that I've featured a Dove product on the blog. In case you missed it I recently gave my thoughts on its new Oxygen Moisture Advanced Hair Series and now my thoughts on another new-ish product…

I've been walking past this on the shelves in Boots for weeks now and every time I've stopped and had a quick look but then passed it by. I didn't really need a body oil if I'm honest but when I gave the tester a quick sniff I quickly decided that I did need one. There were two to choose from, Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla and Pistachio and Magnolia and I went with the latter, which is weird for me as I'd usually go for the Shea/Vanilla one but the Pistachio one was a much stronger scent and I fancied something a bit different so in it went into my basket.

Basically you apply the oil to your skin, rub it in and enjoy the delicious scents for hours afterwards. It includes pistachio oil, grape seed, sesame oil and sea buckthorn oil, which just leave your skin feeling super soft. The oil itself is really light and non-greasy so it sinks into the skin really quickly, meaning you can get on with the rest of your routine or get dressed without having to wait around for it to dry.

Body oils are pretty much another step up from moisturiser and they feel much more luxurious. This is a real treat and it's really quick to use as well so I can just whack this on in the mornings before work. For £5.99 this is a tad expensive in my opinion but I think it's going to last quite a while so you'll get your money's worth.

Have you tried the Dove Purely Pampering Pistachio and Magnolia Body Oil?. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

  1. I love body oils but some are not as natural as they make out to be . Is this completely natural ingredients or are there other chemicals added
    Thanks

    1. Probably got chemicals added to it I'd imagine as it doesn't claim to be a natural product!
