Nail Girls 'Coral'

Hi everyone! How are you all? Not much has been going on in my world at the moment. I had a pretty quiet weekend with a week of work currently following. It's not long now until this job comes to an end, which is a real shame as I'd love to be able to stay. It's really great to see all of my work coming together on the University's new portal website and it will definitely add a lot to my CV.

Anyway, it's about time I did another nail polish post! I've missed them! I've gone through a bit of a stage of not painting my nails with anything but clear polish, but I've finally decided to get a bit more colour in my life with the help of Nail Girls #3 Coral.

I picked this nail polish up from the Red magazine beauty sale for about £1 or so, so when I saw that they were selling for £10.50 Online, I realised I had got myself a total bargain! The magazine had obviously received it as a free sample as it is part of the Spring 2011 Punchy Pastels Collection.

Seeing as I've had this nail polish since March, it's about time I wrote a post about it. Nail Girls are passionate about their polishes, so much so that their colours are a superior formula, free from any harmful chemicals. (toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalates) and camphor) They are not tested on animals, are vegan friendly and the packaging is recyclable.

The Nail Girls company was created by sisters Jo and Lynda-Louise Burrell as they were fed up with toxic smelling, nail damaging products. They've done a terrific job as the polishes are just lovely! I love the rectangular shape of the bottle as well as the simple text used.

I had a good sniff of this polish and it still smells a little bit whiffy to me, but as it's free from harmful chemicals, it shouldn't be a problem! I picked up the #3 Coral shade which turns out quite bright. The polish is also a little thin so two coats are definitely needed here.

Coral is an extremely popular shade at the moment, especially within clothing so this nail polish should be really popular! This particular shade is very pretty and I feel quite girly and fun having such bright nails. I would definitely recommend!

  4. Gorgeous colour! I had the Rimmel Coralicious which was lovely.

I get nervous using bright colours though! Definitely going to start being more adventurous with my make up though - it's the easiest way to change up your look!
