Christmas decoration wishlist

Christmas decoration wishlist

I have yet to put my Christmas tree or decorations up yet. Vince and I actually want to get a new tree as the one we have is just too big, so I thought if we were getting a new tree then some new decorations are certainly in order.

When anyone says decorations you instantly think baubles and lights but decorating the home at Christmas can consist of lots of different accessories such as candles, cushions, photo frames, bunting and throws. Anything with a festive feel. My living room is very autumnal at the moment so it's perfect for this time of year, if I add a few different candles, some lights and handing trinkets then it will instantly transform into a little crimbo grotto.

Most of the tree decorations we have are very traditional, different coloured baubles, lights and tinsel, so it's nice to be able to decorate the rest of the home with something a bit more modern.

How are you decorating your house or tree this year?

Weekly Wishlist!

Straight after my last Weekly Wishlist I sat online for hours and just browsed all the clothing websites, adding bits and pieces to my wishlist, so I probably have enough items for another month's worth of posts.

This week I've picked some pretty simple pieces! First up is a People Tree Organic Cotton Dress from Asos for £35. It's not something I'd usually wear or buy but I can really see myself wearing this. It's a very casual dress that will also look great teamed with heels for a night out. I discovered the People Tree brand after writing about Emma Watson's involvement with them. They actually have some brilliant pieces, you'd never know they were eco friendly.

The second piece is the Cropped Cardigan from Asos, £24. I am in love with this colour scheme at the moment and I'm so sick of wearing boring black cardigans, so I thought this would make a nice change! It also comes in Yellow which is absolutely hideous, haha!

And lastly, another pick from Asos! The Grey Marl Sweater, £14.99, is similar to another jumper I have but as this one is lightweight it would be great for evening wear or slightly colder spring/summer days. As you can see from the picture, it goes with absolutely anything and it's definitely going into my basket when I have the money!

This whole wishlist thing is great because it saves so much time! I don't need to wander around the shops when I finally get some money, buying things I'm never going to wear. I can just click on the items on my wishlist and buy from the comfort of my own home, easy!

My Christmas wishlist Part 2!

Part 1 of my Christmas wishlist started out with the search for the perfect satchel, and now I think I've found my dream satchel, which I'm hoping will be sitting under my Christmas tree this year, thanks to my loving Sister!

The Stitch Detail Biker Satchel is everything I love in a bag/satchel. Lovely and chunky for all my rubbish. Leather look and black, to 'go' with everything. Perfect! £40 from Warehouse!

And now I'm going to show you the rest of the things on my Christmas wishlist. My mum has asked for a specific list so she knows exactly what to get me. Most of the list consists of books, but there's also the usual bits and pieces I get most years, such as slippers, PJs, a new Calendar and a Diary.

As you've seen from my Book Recommendation posts, I love to read so these books are all on my wishlist, and I expect the list will continue to grow!

So now you can probably guess what some of the future Book Recommendation books are going to include, but that's not all, there's still many things I want! Including these two Accessorize Nail Polish's in 'Rockstar Idol' and 'Illusion Molten Copper.'

I had no idea Accessorize did nail polishes or even cosmetics. I've also opted for a 'Molten Copper' eyeshadow.

Last but not least, I've found this scrummy Bubblegum Lip Scrub from LUSH, which I've also added to my wishlist.

I also really love this dress from Topshop, but I'm not really the dress type and it would probably just sit in my wardrobe for the rest of the year! Boo.

If I get all of these lovely things for Christmas, I'll be a very happy bunny...but I'll have to wait just 36 days!

What's on everyone else's wishlist?
