Mulberry S/S 12 Campaign

As if I didn't want a Mulberry bag enough, this advertising campaign has just made the need even stronger!

This has got to be one of the most exciting, colourful and fun campaigns I've seen from a brand in a long time and with Mulberry being a British institution, it was only right for it to be shot on none other than Brighton beach!

The campaign images are like traditional British postcards featuring the famous pier, sticks of rock, candy stripes and ice-cream! Oh, and the new handbag collection of course! And as if the bags weren't enough, the outfits consisting of cute ankle socks, wedges and an overall kitsch theme are adorable!

What do you think of the campaign?

Warehouse Christmas 2011

It's just over 2 months until Christmas now and I'm already thinking about what presents to buy people. It feels a bit weird to think about Christmas when it's currently 19 degrees outside but I wanted to bring you the Warehouse Christmas Lookbook as I think it's one of the best I've seen so far!

I love the fact that Warehouse haven't opted for the typical Lookbook full of Christmas party dresses. They've taken into consideration the fact that not everyone (aka me!) likes wearing dresses, and we want alternatives for goodness sake! I particularly love the last image as it just looks extremely cosy and perfect for Winter!

I'm really keen on the cropped trousers in red and black, just not so sure I could handle having cold ankles in the Winter! I also love the the use of skirts and shorts with tights as this is something I want to do myself!

But what really stands out in this Lookbook is the different Christmas looks, ie. the first 6 images displayed. They aren't your usual sparkly ballgowns, they all have a cool edge to them such as a feathered skirt or glitzy shorts. I also adore the two red dresses as these would make great party outfit with the addition of heels.

I love what Warehouse have done here for their Lookbook and it's all fairly reasonable with prices starting from £25.

Next A/W 2011

Pinch punch, first of the month!

Hi everyone! Hope all is good! I haven't been up to much at all. I'm continuing to enjoy spending time at home and have all the time in the world for blogging, however, I am down to my last £20 now I'm trying to decide whether to go back to the Holiday resort to work as the job hunt is just not going anywhere. I really don't mind going back if I'm really honest and it'll be nice to have some money. I can't really live on £20 can I? We'll see...

Mum and Dad have just booked a holiday to Majorca for the end of September and guess who's not going? Me. Bit too old for family holidays I think so I am now dog sitting for the week. Oh joy. However, I'm looking forward to having the place to myself for a week, it'll be like a peaceful little holiday on my own, haha.

Can you believe it's September already? I mentioned in yesterday's blog post that I couldn't believe it but I'm secretly quite glad because it's getting colder, which means I can start wrapping up warm! I wanted to bring you my favourites from the Next Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook because it looks utterly gorgeous and unlike many others, they even have names for the various collections. I do love it!

I think this will be one of the last Lookbook's I post before some Christmas Lookbook's that I have been sent. I've really enjoyed exploring all of the different offerings from the Highstreet this year. I hope you've enjoyed looking at the collections as much as I have!

Hoxton Girls

Future Brights

Interstate

So there is just a few of my favourites from the new Next A/W 2011 Lookbook. Absolutely adore the winter coat and leather jacket and the skater skirts could make a nice change from shorts and tights this Winter.

The Lookbook is very simple to be honest and that's probably why I like it. There is a lot of houndstooth print which I'm not too keen on, however, in Pink it's not too bad. I love the brights but my favourite has got to be the 'Hoxton Girls' range that's very English and twee and LOOK AT THOSE LOAFER WEDGES! BE MINE!

What do you think of the A/W 2011 range from Next?
