My Fair Lady

When I received a Ciaté nail polish with last months Glossy Box I fell in love immediately! I was getting a bit bored with Models Own and Nails Inc polishes, as I'm sure many others are, so when Ciaté was introduced to me, I was very pleased!

In the Glossy Box, I received the shade 'Cabaret' which is a 'ruby purple with a bright berry twist', so when I spotted a free polish in September's Marie Claire magazine, I opted for the opposite shade to what I already had.

I picked up the shade 'My Fair Lady', which is really a lovely name for a polish I think. I really love nude/beige shades so this one was perfect for me! I love the little bow on the front of the pot and the extra long brush makes it much easier to apply.

Compared to 'Cabaret', this shade is extremely thin, probably one of the thinnest polishes I've ever used, but because it's such a lovely shade, I think I can let it off! It does redeem itself by drying pretty quickly and leaving a lovely, shiny finish.

Overall it took three coats to look decent, but it really is a lovely colour, very feminine and cute, similar to Peach Melba type shades that are available in many other polish ranges.

Ciaté have a number of great shades, including really great colour popping ones, all for £9, which compared to other polishes, isn't too bad of a price!
