Primark A/W 2011

I don't know about you, but I'm not too keen on Summer clothing. I'm just not a flesh showing sort of person. I much prefer wrapping up in a snug jumper and jeans with some lovely winter boots than wearing shorts and a vest top. *shudder* This means that I am currently loving the wave of Autumn/Winter lookbooks that are floating around at the moment! The new Primark lookbook caught my eye recently so I just had to post about it!







When I look at these images I don't quite believe they are Primark? Surely a place that's always so messy can't sell clothing like this. Why would people chuck it on the floor if they did? This Autumn, I really need to hunt through my local Primark and pick up some of these pieces. The fur coat might be a bit OTT and reminiscent of Topshop's Unique collection but it reminds me of one I had when I was little; very Cruella de Vil!

The dress might look a little 'house on the prairie' but it's cute, as are the bright colour blocking pieces, and those heels...yum! I particularly love the winter coat, if you look closely it's actually heart print and very cute!











Loving the fact that Peter Pan collars are still around. These blouses might be a bit flimsy to wear alone in the Autumn/Winter weather but they are great if most of your day is spent indoors at work! I love a thick cardigan like the one above and I definitely need to get some Winter shorts in my life. Does the red Winter coat remind anyone else of Paddington Bear? :-)




I am still loving the boxy bags that Primark have at the moment, they're gorgeous colours and great little things to sling over your shoulder at the weekends or on a night out. As for the shoes, more gorgeousness ahead! I can see myself wearing the fur lined ankle boots, very stomp worthy!

So what do you all think of the upcoming collection? I personally love it. I'm glad that the Primark nearest to me, in Bristol, is one of the newer, bigger ones, which means they are more likely to stock this collection. I better get saving!

    Thanks for the birthday wishes :) This lookbook is gorgeous! But like you say, I can't quite imagine them featuring in my local primark.. I never can find all the really nice stuff, I suppose it goes straight away! And the quality might not be great for some of it, but the coats and heels yes please! x

    Wow I can't believe that's all Primark! I buy quite a lot of stuff from there - I have some great brogues similar to the ones shown - I'm definitely heading there come autumn!

    Also I'm with you about the winter vs summer thing - I'm far more into layering/boots than shorts that barely skim my a*** :P

    I agree, A/W clothes are so much nicer than summer clothes. Summer clothes always seem abit cheap to me. I can't believe this is Primark it looks like a fab collection!x

    Lol funny thing is I am the same way.. Summer is ok but nothing beats a beautiful coat... I love all these.. Haha I was at Burberry on Saturday and trying coats while it was 80 degrees outside.. What can I say, I love the cold!

    I am the same as you I prefer winter clothing although I prefer summer on the whole as I love the warm weather and light nights.
