Vivo Perfect Skin Primer - £5.99* |
I'll be honest with you. I have had this for absolutely ages and I've never used it. I hadn't even broken the seal and tested it out. It had just been lying in a box of other beauty stuff since we moved in last September. Oops.
I recently had a sort out and decided to give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised! In the past when I had applied foundation of any type it would always go flaky and dry as I have such dry skin. I think I may have found the answer!
I'm sure most people know what a primer is. Basically it works as a canvas for your foundation and creates a thin barrier between your foundation and your skin, giving it something to glide over. It also minimises pores and imperfections, which is a plus in my book!
I do have a small pot of primer from Maybelline but it's very gel like and I don't really get on with it. Vivo's skin primer is much more liquid like and easy to apply. I just use my fingers to blend it over the skin and pop my foundation on top. It helps create a flawless look and I'd certainly recommend. I only wish I'd started using it earlier!

Oh gosh I'm so jealous you have such cheap primers. In my country we basically have one primer at the drugstore...
ReplyDeleteI really like this, I found it to be very similar to Benefit Porefessional x
ReplyDeleteI've finally come to terms with the fact I have giant pores and need to start using a primer. So, I might have to give this one a try and I'm really glad I saw this post. Thanks for sharing. :)
