17 Spring Fling Eye Palette in Hazy Days

When I was rooting through my makeup bag I came up with the idea of revisiting some old beauty products on the blog. I thought it'd be a good idea to re-review bits and pieces I had reviewed in the past and see if they still lived up to the good things I said about them.

The Spring Fling Palette in 'Hazy Days' was reviewed way back in March last year (2012) and at the time they were the perfect spring eye palettes. Hazy Days is a gorgeously pigmented copper/brown/green palette set out in the shape of a rose.

I still really love the palette and the shades are easily blendable and shimmery. There is a bit of fall out as you can see from the picture but it's nothing that can't be cleared up.

In the previous review I noted that the colours faded a bit after a few hours but this time around I've not noticed any fading. I still really like this palette and on second thoughts, I think the price tag of £5.99 is pretty reasonable.

Have you re-discoverd any old beauty products recently?

I was recently sent these two gorgeous lip balms along with the eyeshadow palette from the Clarins Summer 2013 range and I was really impressed! I'm more of a lip balm than a lipstick kind of girl but these are like two in one. Perfect for someone like me.

It's exactly like a regular lipstick but when I opened Crystal Gold I was really surprised to see a green shade surrounding the pigmented lipstick core. Luckily the outer shades are the moisturising balm areas so you don't end up with green lips. The shades running through the middle are lovely and soft and highly pigmented.

Crystal Rose and Crystal Gold are gorgeous red and pink shades, very subtle and not too overpowering. The balms are really soft and moisturising and feel lovely to apply.

These lip balms are not only interesting to look at but they're absolutely lovely to wear and the packaging is insanely gorgeous to look at. For £17 they would be something of a special treat if I were to purchase them myself but there are some things that are just too amazing too pass up.

Wednesday Wishlist #73

Wednesday Wishlist
Zara:
Everyday Shopper - £22.99
Shopper with combination handles - £22.99
Shopper with braided handles - £39.99
Shopper bag with buckles - £39.99

I can't believe I've not already had a Zara bag special for my Wednesday Wishlist. I was chatting about my favourite bags with my sister on Sunday morning as she wants one for her birthday, so I decided to have a little browse myself and came across some beauties.

I currently have an every day shopper bag, which I got from Zara, but Charlie has got his claws all over it so I think it's time for a new one now. I think Zara's basics range is amazing and so reasonably priced, £22.99 for a Zara bag is a real bargain! The only problem is, I can't decided which one I like best...
