Nica Verona Across Body Bag

I have been looking for a new bag for a while. The past two or three bags I've bought have been from Zara and they're proving to be too big and bulky and just generally a pain to carry around. I've been looking for a much smaller bag for a while but had yet to find anything until I was offered a product for review purposes from Bagable.co.uk.

I've never heard of the site before but it contains some really great brands of bags including Nica, Fiorelli and David & Goliath and the prices are really reasonable. The Nica Verona Across Body Bag is £27.30, which I think is really great. I would definitely pay this myself as the bag is just so cute and detailed. It's small enough to be easy to carry around but big enough to fit in all my necessities. It has an across the body strap, which means you can throw it over when you've got lots of shopping to carry or need both hands spare.

As well as acting as an across the body bag you can also adjust the strap so it becomes a normal handbag you can carry on one shoulder. The detailing inside is also really pretty and I love the colours. It has a little zip pocket inside as well as a tiny secret one on the bag of the bag, I love things like this as they make great places to stash whatever you need.

I would really recommend checking out Bagable.co.uk if you're after a good quality bag. There's loads to choose from and I'm so happy with my choice. I almost went for a Nica purse but my mum said I should go for the bag instead and I'm so pleased I did!

Is it just me or have Barry M polishes gone up in price? I'm pretty sure they used to be £2.99, but I guess I shouldn't complain really. £3.99 for a nail polish is very much a bargain. Shut up Cherry.

I've actually been waiting ages to get my hands on the new matte polishes. I know matte polishes aren't exactly new but I was really keen to see what shades Barry M would come out with and I have to say I'm quite impressed. I adore the nudey/beige shades, but I also hope they bring out a much bigger range in the spring/summer full of lovely bright colours. I'm sure they will.

The polish itself is quite thick and lovely to apply. Both of the shades look great together and the Mocha Brown actually really reminds me of chocolate, yum yum! The polishes take quite a while to dry, which is a bit annoying but the finished effect is so lovely I can forgive a long drying time.

Have you tried the new matte polishes?

L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution - £3.33

L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Usually I stay clear of skincare from brands such as L'Oreal, Garnier etc, etc. I've just not had good experiences with them in the past and their products are often quite harsh on the skin but recently I decided to pick up the L'Oreal 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution on a bit of a whim. I've been using Bioderma for a while now, but it is quite expensive, so thought I would try an alternative.

I was actually browsing the Christmas gift set section in Boots and spotted this as part of a set. The set was £10 but I guessed the store was probably selling it individually so thought I'd have a scout round. I was surprised at how cheap it was really but after trying it out I have to say I am quite impressed.

It claims to unclog pores, remove impurities and all the usual stuff as well as remove makeup and soothes and tones the skin. I was most interested to see how it would sooth and tone the skin so I used it instead of my normal cleanser/toner combo. It is really gentle and kind to the skin. It has a bit of an unpleasant scent to it but I can get over that easily, but what impressed me most is that it's very gentle on the eyes and removing eye makeup, unlike the Bioderma, which has made my eyes sting a couple of times. Granted you probably shouldn't use it to remove eye makeup but I'm lazy so there you go.

Overall I'm really impressed and I'm going to recommend this to my sister as a great alternative to Bioderma. I get so happy when I discover new lovely skincare!

Have you tried this?
