I was quite surprised not to see a black in the new Gothic Glam range from Collection (previously Collection 2000), but I still decided to give one of the polishes a try. I opted for '4 Poison' which is a glittery dark blue and is actually really pretty.
When I say it's a glitter polish I mean it's actually a smooth glitter polish, so it's not rough on application and it'll come off easily without leaving a horrible mess like a lot of other glitter polishes do.
I was surprised to find a wide angled brush when I unscrewed the lid. It's great for covering the whole of the nail when you apply the polish and the polish itself dries extremely quickly, which is always a hit for me. The finished look above has taken just two coats of the polish and I love it, it really sparkles in the light and for around £3 it's a real bargain too!
Smooth glitters are the best! SO much easier to take off than rough glitters! Looks great, Cherry!

Ahh I saw these and didn't buy them because I wasn't sure if they would be rough or not. Thanks for clearing that up :)

This was my favourite nail polish brand when i was younger. I am going to pick this up next time I'm at Boots because it's a gorgeous shade, and it's something I don't have. Plus, a bit of sparkle at this time of year is an absolute MUST! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's such a pretty polish and for a great price too! I'm really into those kind of metallic colors at the moment, so I wish we had collection here in Sweden!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour & for £3.19 it's a bargain too
