Butter London Posh Bird

I recently received this nail polish from Butter London in 'Posh Bird' and I was really excited to try it. I've never tried Butter London polishes before but I've heard good things about them. Personally I think they are a little expensive so I probably wouldn't purchase one at full price unless I was feeling particularly flush that day or needed a huge pick me up.

I really like the square shaped bottle and it's lovely to apply to the nails. I only needed one coat of the polish and the shade itself is a lovely, pretty grey/purple shimmer. It dries extremely quickly, which is always a plus, but unfortunately it didn't last very long! I was quite disappointed to see it start chipping after only a few hours. They aren't huge chips, just slight chipping on the nail edges, which I'm sure could be prevented with a top coat, but I'm too lazy for that!

I tested out the polish before photographing it, which is a very anti-blogger thing to do, so the above photo is actually of two coats of polish as I had to go over it and touch up the chips.

As I mentioned it is a really pretty shade and I'd love to try out some more. I will give this a go with a top coat applied as well but as the chipping was very minimal I would still recommend the polish.
