I'm not really sure how I feel about this nail polish. I've continuously walked past it and noticed the pretty pastel colours but I wasn't sure the effect was as great as some of the other effect polishes Barry M has come out with in the past year. In the end I picked up a shade on a whim really...I went for Atlantic Road, which is a really nice pale Blue colour.

The polish applies like any other, but leave it to try and before your very eyes it transforms into a strange bumpy, grainy effect. The polish includes teeny tiny grains that leave a rough feel on the nails although it's very subtle and you wouldn't really notice the effect from far away.

It took two coats to get a good covering as one coat is just too thin. It's kind of annoying that you have to apply a base coat for it to work but that's probably just me being lazy. All in all it is a really nice shade of nail polish, but the effect isn't really anything special in my opinion.

    The colour is so pretty! I'm not really sure about any of the effect polishes other than the gelly ones, I don't really think they're 'me'! xo

    I guess this texture will stop me worrying about the bubbles I get in my nail varnish anyway!! I love the colour but not sure I'd shell out my pennies for the texture.
