Had I known that flatforms were going to be such a trend, I would have got on board with them much earlier! When I first saw them I thought they looked weird, a bit of a cross between a wedge and a platform, but now that I own a pair, I'm in love!!
Flatforms are definitely a shoe that you need to try before criticising. I recently ordered the ASOS Vera Pointed Flatforms after being unable to get my hands on the ever so popular OFFICE Willow Paige Flatforms.
I'm definitely not a person for wearing heels everyday, or on any day to be honest, so flatforms are a great alternative! I'll admit that the ASOS Flatforms did slip off when I walked but once I added a special heel liner for grip, they were perfect and really easy to walk in. They're a bit strange at first as they add height without putting your foot at an awkward angle but it's just like walking in flats!
Have you got a pair of flatforms yet? What do you think of them?
I haven't tried flatforms yet but I'm a diddy 5ft 2 so I should definitely jump on this bandwagon! I love that you included casual styles and some more dressy ones too. My faves are probably the velvet ones, the remind me of creepers but a little more elegant :) Lovely post :) xxx
ReplyDeleteFlatforms seemed such a weeirrrd trend at first that I wasn't sure, however seeing some of my favourite bloggers rocking them has definitely encouraged me to maybe try a pair on, I'm not massively tall so they would be great for days when I want a little boost! Also, you've picked the cutest pairs to showcase! Definitely tempted!

I'm dying to try a pair of flatforms! At first I was like 'really?' but now they've grown on me and I really like them. The Topshop contrast flatforms are perfect xx
ReplyDeleteI think I might be the odd one out here, but I really don't think I'd wear them? I just don't love them? Eeek. xx
ReplyDeleteI was exactly the same but I totally changed my opinion!
DeleteHmm... The velvet ones are interesting. I like them on other people but I remain unconvinced for myself. x
ReplyDeleteThese are interesting. I'll have to check them out and see if I like them. Shoes can be a lot different once you try them on. I'm glad you love yours! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I don't like the look of them! They remind me of the ones that The Spicegirls wore lol - pretty sure I had a pair very similar to the velvet ASOS ones when I was about 9!

They do look a bit strange at first, but you're right, they're pretty much flats with a bit of height. I'd maybe try them sometime.
ReplyDeleteOh, and was the Asos pair the one I recommended you on formspring? :)
Hmm, I've really never been much of a fan of 'flatforms', they're really comfortable and can look great styled the right way, but I just don't see myself investing in a pair any time soon xx
ReplyDeleteFlatforms are definitely a shoe that you need to try before criticising. I also like to wear them. <><>
ReplyDeleteI bought the asos flatforms but they are a bit small around the toe, did you have this problem and were they true to size? xx
