I've decided it might be time for a new bag and purse. I currently have a Zara shopper and it's getting really annoying to lug it around all the time, especially as I keep filling it with rubbish. I had my eye on one of the roll top messenger bags in the sale and I was waiting very patiently until pay day. When I went to get it, it was out of stock in the black! Argh! I knew I should have got it when I saw it, it was only £9.99 too.

So now I'm looking for an alternative shoulder bag, that's smaller but will still fit quite a lot in it. I also fancy a new purse. The one I have at the moment is pretty chunky and I don't really need one that's so big. I only carry my cards in it so something smaller would be much better.

Collection 'Work The Colour' Eyeshadow Pencils

Collection 'Work The Colour' Eyeshadow Pencils in Gunmetal Glitz and Hot Chocolate - £3.19

As if I needed any more eyeshadow pencils, but I think these are somewhat new to the market. I spotted them on a few blogs so decided to pick some up as I knew they would be cheap. £3.19 is a real bargain when you compare them to other eyeshadow pencils from the likes of Rimmel, Maybelline etc.

The pencils themselves are lovely and velvety and soft. They apply like a dream and are really pigmented. They're great for blending too so a great addition to my collection. The Gunmetal Glitz has an extra touch of sparkle but as you can see it had a little fallout onto the lashes.

Both shades have great staying power and I'd definitely recommend picking these up if you don't want to spend £5+ on an eyeshadow.

It feels like I've been waiting for this for SO long. I started this blog in 2009 as a platform to show off my writing in the hope of finding the dream job.

Now I've watched the blogging world absolutely blow up and I've seen so many blogs rise in popularity. I've seen new blogs pop up and overtake my own in the follower numbers, which has made me feel a bit rubbish at times, but I've carried on because I REALLY enjoy writing it. Now I've reached such a milestone it feels great!

I'm busy planning for the future of the blog, starting with a fresh, new look. I'm also hoping to hold a little giveaway to celebrate 1,000 followers. I always want to improve my blog and get better and better so here's to the future and thank you for following!
