Wednesday Wishlist #92

Wednesday Wishlist
New Look: Quilted Leather Look Biker Jacket - £49.99
Internacionale: Black Peplum Pu Biker Jacket - £34.99, Black Wrap Collar Pu Jacket - £39.99

When I went shopping on Saturday I couldn't help but notice the influx of biker jackets on the rails. They were everywhere! So Autumn is officially here and it's time to start thinking about this year's Autumn/Winter coat. Don't ask me why British people always need a new coat each season, I think it stems from schooldays but I've suddenly started thinking about what I want this year.

I currently do have a fake leather jacket but it's got an annoying fluffy hood on it, which isn't very 'cool' so I've been looking at a few different options. I think the peplum biker jacket is a great idea as it gives a lovely feminine edge to the jacket. I also love the quilted look jacket too, it just makes it a little more interesting.

I understand Primark have some good jackets and coats in stock at the moment so I might just have to check these out too. What have you decided on for your Autumn/Winter coat?

ASOS Mini Skater Dress in Flocked Spot

Hello outfit post! Now, I'm not sure if these photos are a tad on the large size, but let me know if they are! It's a bit of a case of trial and error with outfit photos. I'm never sure how to present them.

Recently I won a £50 ASOS voucher and this dress was one of the items I picked up, although I'm pretty annoyed to see it's now only £14 down from £28! If I had saved the voucher I probably could have got a lot more. I decided to pick this up as I'm really liking tshirt/skater dresses recently and I spotted (no pun intended!) this one and thought it was absolutely lovely. Tshirt dresses are so easy to wear, especially when it's hot weather, they're so easy to just throw on and in the winter I'm planning on just throwing on some tights and a thick cardigan with it.

They're simple to accessorise to. Here I've just put on a necklace I haven't actually worn in absolutely ages. It's nice to dust it off and put it on again!

I really like the scooped back on this dress, which I wasn't actually expecting when it arrived. I thought it would be too low and would show off my bra strap but it's fine so it's definitely not being returned. I've also bought a grey and white version, which I'm sure I will photograph soon!

PS. You can find some extra outfit shots over on my Facebook page.

So my week off has come to an end. It's not gone as fast as I thought it would and I got a LOT of housework done and really just relaxed. It was Vince's birthday on Monday but unfortunately he was working so we couldn't really celebrate properly. He got lots of lovely cards and presents and we had a special birthday takeaway Indian too. Hopefully he had a nice day!

We have consumed a LOT of takeaways recently, as you can see from the pics above, so September is going to be 'No Takeaway month'. Lets see how long we can keep it up....my guess is not long at all. We did a massive food shop yesterday so we should have something if we get peckish!

Apart from Housework I've also caught up with my sister who has been round with Daisy. I was hoping my little nephew would be born early this week but unfortunately still no baby! We went to Costa yesterday with my mum for a coffee/iced lemonade and then took Daisy to the park. She seemed to enjoy it, she's just so hilarious. She has a proper personality and is just so funny with the things she does and says, it cracks me up.

Friday was payday, which means I've done a bit of shopping. Oops! I was planning to go to Bristol and to hit Primark but decided against it as it costs so much in petrol/parking or train fairs to get there and then I probably wouldn't be able to find anything in Primark anyway so I just stuck to my local town instead and picked up a few bits.

Tomorrow I have to go back to work and try to get back into a routine of getting up early and making sure I eat breakfast etc etc. I've enjoyed lots of lovely lay-ins this week and lots of afternoon naps and watching episodes of Lost. Oh how I'll miss it!

What have you been up to this week?
